Oh No!!! The bloke across the road is having exactly the same problem, he needs a new knee (damaged in an accident) but they don't want to give him one now because he will wear it out too quickly?? Who makes these rules eh???

I'll keep my knee as long as possible thanks, my dad had knee joint replacements which sidelined him for months, I just can't afford that at the moment

I felt this way when they told me i had arthritis in my hip, wonder what my hip score is? lol!

Keep up the walking Ver, i know some days its torture, my hip clicks a lot for a few weeks then i seem to get a few weeks break, the walking definately helps, you have to stay active or it gets worse. I know i'm a candidate for a hip replacement in the future but hopefully that is many years away. I don't think its money that stops the NHS from fixing your knee or my hip, its such a huge operation and so many things can go wrong, best to leave it until you really need to have it done.
