| Hi, I have a 3 year old Westie called Max. I have been studying and practising Cesar Millans methods for about 4 years on my dog and other dogs that locally people have asked me to. I have read all his books a number of times and pretty much know his methods inside out. I have also studied Shaun Elliss's work as much as I can and have read his book 'The Wolf Talk' I am not a professional just an enthusiastic amateur and my help and advice is always given free of charge as dogs have helped me a lot and anything I can give back to them I do willingly and with great enjoyment. If anyone wants some help trying to understand or applying Cesar Millans methods just let me know and I will do all I can to help. I am a straight talker and will say things how I see them and to the point without pussy footing around the edges, please don't be offended by any of this as my intention is only trying to help you and your dogs and never intended to offend but some people may view it that way.

| Been having a likkle chat to our James via pm, and asked him if he would like his own section to answer training questions, and he says he would be happy to do this. Sooooo am just off to build him his own personal empire, then you can all ask away. I think I will keep it members only, if that is OK with everyone, then there is no chance of out-of-context detailsof any problems appearing on other forums!!!! |

| I look forward to helping out if I can..... I would like to point out that I am not a dog trainer but study dog behaviour and use that to get my dog or dogs that I am working with to follow my lead. As close as possible so we are communicating with our dogs as they would do with each other which in my view gives them a better chance of understanding what we want from them in terms of behaviour and more importantly help us understand our dogs more so we can help fulfill their needs and hence often this is enough to stop any bad behaviour. |

| hey june, that gets even better, he still at it, if i don't get up when the alarm goes off he steals my wee beanie pillow that i use for my neck, then the pillow is next, then the duvet, i kidded on i was still sleeping the other morning, and the cheeky git then gently wrapped his teeth round ma nightie strap and hauled, know i prob should stop him but its hilarious, wish i could film it 4 u, but iain thinks it might be to x rated |
