PostSubject: Re: HI I have 2 utes   Sun Jun 21, 2009 8:42 pm

Hi, how old is your pup? Nice to meet you. Hope you enjoy your time on here. No one on hereis into any backstabbing, it was kinda forced on us, we don't have that sort of thing on here as the norm, and in future it won't be allowed.
We don't like to make rules and regulations about things, we expect our members to behave in an adult fashion, so as you can imagine we don't expect to be faced with all this tit-for-tat and edited pm's.
None of us on here have health problems with our dogs, if they do it is discussed on the Health Matters section, you may notice there isn't a lot of postings on there about our dogs really, the last one being about a pup with tummy problems.
Look forward to having a chat with you about your dog, who is the dad, Dakota Moon is my girl's mum's sister so we are related, you are also related to Carol with Merlin, Miakoda and Shadow Very Happy
Any health issues with Sulin bred dogs are reported and documented and then dealt with, no one hides anything, if they did, no one would be aware of them!!!
If you have any problems with any of the health matters you feel are an issue, maybe you should speak to the person yourself, then you would be made fully aware of any and all steps that have been taken along the way to eradicate these

hi nice to see you on, hope you dont get the wrong idea about what im about to write so sorry if you do.

i ve no way said anything bad about karens pups or had anything to do with whats happen yet all of us in this house have been ban on that site. without a reason and for a paid up member to be ban without reason in advance i think is very off. the only thing i can think of is ,except from owning dogs of "this womans" quote yes ive read them before got ban, and think its out of order as the talking between the 2 people had nothing to do with "the woman"
and "the woman " has been nothing but honest in every thing to me and helped me in every way.

Same here Carol, in fact when I went to collect Cariad I had just lost Tawney to her final stroke and she offered me Maelona FREE OF CHARGE. Now 'this woman' barely knew me except that I had a dog from Eddy Harrison and I had been down a couple of weeks previous to that to meet Cariad and to be given the once over and all clear by the adult dogs. Yet she entrusted to me the girl she was keeping behind for herself. I paid for Maelona the following year when I was able to. She is always there for me if I have any questions, was on the end of the telephone when Cariad was having her babies at all silly times of the night. She has been totally supportive in everything I have done. I wouldn't have the beautiful girls and beautiful pups I have now if it wasn't for her.
She has been totally open and honest with me about all the problems in her 15 years of breeding these dogs, she was also of great support to Karen, and I know she has many e mails from Karen stating this very thing, so I am very surprised to hear that all of a sudden she is Public Enemy No.1.
You would NOT have YOUR dogs if she had not bred the dogs behind them, or have you not considered that? I advise you again, ring her and she will answer any and all questions honestly and openly and then and only then can you make a proper and true judgement. At the moment you only know what you have been told, a big difference from knowing the truth.

hi and thanks for the welcome.
my pup is almost 7 months now and a extremly handsome boy (although i a bit baised) lol. His dad is Kashada. My other ute is 2 and he is a real swweetheart. He has mathal Wappo and luca in his lines. I have met carol and merlin - hi carol -
There is no health issues that i personally have any prolems with. both my boys are very healthy Very Happy i do think that having health records is the only way to move forward thou and it saddens me when there is so much bitching among the groups - although i do believe that a few groups are now sharing information, at least it is a start in the right direction.
modified to add
carol i had no idea you have been banned Shocked you know this just gets from bad to worse. All this started because someone spat the dummy and slated basically her own dogs lines to other people. The person in question has apoligised and is back on the BUA forum by the way and i had hoped that would be an end of it. obviously not. I just hope for the sake of this beautiful breed that all parties concerned can extend an olive branch and work together for the good of the breed.

When looking in the Health Section you can see we have a separate section where we record the Hip, Elbow, eye and vwd tests. It is available to guests, anyone can see it, there is nothing to hide, in fact there is plenty to brag about I feel.
As I have said elsewhere, I could quite easily publish the pm's initially sent to me, but I wouldn't dream of it, I think the whole thing is a disgrace and should never have been brought onto here in the first place, and in future I aim to ensure that if there is no intro (like you have kindly made, so we all know where we stand) within 7 days of joining, unless I personally know that person, or someone on here can vouch for them, they will be deleted. Horrible thing to do isn't it? Also something I never thought would happen on here, the events of the past few days have certainly ensured I will never ever give anyone 'tea and sympathy' again nor attempt to encourage them to stand up against bullies.
No one minds a good discussion, we all have our different viewpoints and it is healthy, but what has gone on and been posted on here is pure vindictiveness and from what I can see is a lynch mob aimed at one person who is responsible for the very dogs we have today, that type of behaviour will not be tolerated in future.

personally i think no-one will ever get the real truth behind our dogs lines. Eddie Harrison is dead and all the dogs lines and what dogs where initially used went with her. I have nothing for praise for Sulin lines in continuing this breed and although i dont know her personally i do agree most of our dogs would not be here without her Very Happy . I am really not interested in the she said this, she said that bull that goes around most of these forums and try to stay out of it...unless it really bugs me Sad
I did do my research before getting a Ute and must have read almost everthing ever wriiten about them about the breeders and the founder of the breed. hahaha i like to know what i am getting... as a big GSD fan and having owned them for years i do know a bit about dogs and lines and breeding so i didn,t come into this breed blind.
my only hope for the future in that these dogs thrive and go on and on. i know i always want to own one.
I do believe in what the BUA are trying to do regarding health issues and hope that one day everyone will come together (prob not happen Razz but heres hoping)

I don't think there is one person on here who doesn't want to improve the breed. However you do have to be prepared to take advice from people who have been involved in breeding for many years and are knowledgeable about what is behind the dogs we have today. Disregarding the help, advice and knowledge offered is a perilous step, and one I am particularly glad I have never taken

NO have NO GARDEN LEFT lol lol. the terrors have totally destroyed it. am in the process of building kennel and runs so i can claim some back lol. What is it with utes and digging Rolling Eyes

I dont think there is one single person who knows everything about this breed or any breed for that matter. I know lots of breeders who produce top quailty show and working dogs and they still learn something new all the time.
I do believe that the BUA have got the best interests of the breed in mind and put a lot of work and effort in trying to acheive it.
I also know that they did not want all this aggrevation and mud flinging and it just a pity some one started all this off. Hope everyone can put this behind them and start concentrating on what we do best...... breeding and loving these great dogs

As in the case of any and everything in life, you have to take what the older experienced knowledgable person has given, and add to it for the future development of whatever it may be

As Dieselpower has deleted their initial post I take it they will no longer be posting on here, so am locking this thread. Maybe trying to repair and build bridges was frowned upon, I have no idea Sad
