| Hi, just found out about this site and wanted to say Hi to all! I have an eight week old 'Tamaskan' puppy which I have just found out could possibly be part Utonagan....oh well, whatever, both breeds seem to be just what I was looking for anyway, as long as he is healthy, I adore him and have only had him two weeks. He has such a little character developing already! |

| Duke's Tamascan has turned out to have relatives over here, namely myself and Kachinas dogs, so looking forward to seeing Baxter's lines then we will be able to tell you. Lovely to see you on here, I bet you don't miss the British weather, though having said that it is glorious here at the moment and I have just spent the afternoon on the river with my 2. I sat reading a magazine in shorts and t shirt and they have been running in and out of the water chasing the ducks |

| It was Duke that told me about your website actually! I contacted her through youtube when I saw her beautiful dog. We found her dog and mine have the same father. Yes the weather is very different here to back home but we do live in Georgia and have some VERY hot weather in the summer. It took some getting used to! Sounds like you have had a good time today and had good weather, sounds great! Baxter visited our pond yesterday and loved it, he doesn't seem afraid of anything! He has a lot to take in so we are doing it in stages, last week he met my Ducks and pot bellied pig Albert ....they are good friends now! My free range chickens are not to keen on him yet though..lol I think he likes to scare them Your dogs look wonderful! |

| Well then Baxter's grandma (I think) is called tumanra, she is my girl's half sister (they have the same father, Anzarra) and she looks like my Lona (the black and silver one), she was originally named Jolie. If you look on the health bit today you will see that Thunder has just had his eyes tested and is in for hips, elbows and vwd, he also has Anzarra as his father, so you have a good few relatives, I also think that you will find that 2 of Kachinas (Karen) dogs, Echo and Silver are related to yours through the Blustag line. Karen will be able to find the exact links for you as she knows more about that line than I do. I can put you in touch with Jolie's breeder if you wish, she is on here as Keeper |

| Gosh! all these distant relatives!! lol It all sounds very interesting! I lived in Ipswich, Suffolk in my previous life ..... before moving to the U.S. Tennessee is lovely, we have visited there quite alot as it's not to far for us (about 6/7 hour drive) and the fall is fantastic there. As soon as I can work out how I will put some photo's of Baxter on (we have just a few...lol) Thanks for all the info! |

| you're right there, there are still loads of little shops and they have the market bak up and running again. We live in north colchester 5 mins from the country park, but are hoping to move into the outskirts as it is still to urban for me, but town is nice, i do prefer it to ipswich which seems more like chelmsford to me! it seems there are not alot of people from this area who get involved with these breeds, although that seems to be changing now they are more popular. What made you move to the US? my husband would like to but we an't afford to and i'm worried about tornadoes and earthquakes etc... _________________ Every dog deserves a smile, a word of admiration - especially if he is very ugly or very sad

| I went back to Ipswich for the first time last year and couldn't believe how much it had changed in just five years (and not for the better) I think I will stay away and remember it from when I was a child instead. We first came over to the U.S on holiday to do Disney etc with our kids and visited an Aunt I had here in Georgia as well. We then came over here on hols a couple of times a year for the next several years until we felt more at home here than England! So we sold up and moved over with an investment visa. It's very difficult and like you say expensive to move here but we think it was worth it! We don't really get bad weather here in south Georgia, the odd tornado watch but it usually does not come near us. It's very rural here to which we love. |

| It sounds really lovely, i'm sure it's much nicer than round here anyway and more 'free' feeling, i can't wait til we finally get moved and i'm not waking up to the sound of cars and not having the street lights lighting up our house at night. Can't wait to see how baxter grows, he's gorgeous _________________ Every dog deserves a smile, a word of admiration - especially if he is very ugly or very sad

| Well we love it here but when our friends have visited they either say 'oh I would love it' or 'what the heck are you doing out here' lol ....but the weather is good and the people are really friendly and we swopped our home back there for so much more here. When we came over we brought two cat's and our beautiful Doberman Jake who we lost last november. I didn't think I could have another dog until I found this breed and fell in love again with Baxter. Nice speaking to you! |
