    Tai much prefers to lie down, so did Hal. I know the judges like them to stand in the show classes, so that they can see the dogs to their best advantage, but I do not agree with it. If the dogs want to lie down, they why shouldn't they without being penalised. The judges get plenty of opportunity to see them when you are walking round the ring and doing your trotty bit. Which is why I will never get into showing ... horses or dogs ... because I hate all the pretentious b******s that accompanies it. Each to his own, and Holly, my daughter, has just bought a show lead for her chihuahua because she wants to show him, but it isn't for me.
