    Hello all,

Some of you may have heard it from other sources, and you'll forgive me for bringing it before you again, but this is the story of a 7 month old fox terrier who got brutally tortured and murdered in Moranbah, Queensland, Australia on October 20th, 2008. He was cut up alive with a pair of garden shears and a pocket knife. You can get all the horrifying details, as well as an update on the case the Australian police has opened here:
Peanuts Law - Harsher Penalties for Animal Cruelty

The owners of the pup, Danielle and Karen Neilson have put together a petition to demand the maximum available penalty under the Australian law for those two men, who are trying to avoid punishment by pleading insanity and who apparently are responsible for other similar cruelty acts.

Please, if you want to do something about it, go here:

maximum penalty for the men who hacked up a puppy. - The Petition Site

or use the link provided on the first site and sign the petition. They need 100,000 signatures. And if it's not too much to ask, tell others about it, forward the link. Please, please, do not let them get away with it!

    Kindly thanking you

I copied this from another forum and thought it absolutely sick. To carry out such an act of outright cruelty to a poor wee defenceless animal is really sick - words fail me. Please could you sign the petition? I certainly signed it. What those poor owners must be going thru', I can't imagine. The poor wee dog wasn't doing anyone any harm. Makes me wonder what sort of scum bags those men are. I say, feed them to the crocs and let the crocs have a good meal!!

Here is the link where you can get the petition link from -

    Many thanks everyone.

    Mad Mad

You would want to think that in this day and age that we
humans would be different, sadly we are not, and those
sick depraved callous men who did this are the worst example
    of human nature!

We may be able to fly to the moon, but we do not seem capable
of changing our nature and sadly again its the weak and injured
who end up hurt or dead.

What is wrong with our species?? greed, discontent, anger
dissatisfaction with our lot in life, no wonder I prefer animals
to some people, these things are happening more and more
    it makes my blood boil.............................

OK I am off my soap box now
