Why? There are so many utonagan societies and associations I don't know which is which or what happened with any of them... Who are they?

Speaking from my own personal experience of them, they are not very nice people, the dogs they sell under the guise of 'Utonagan' are sometimes not even Utonagan but they want more money than we at TUBR ask for an authentic Utonagan, so people are being conned into buying something that isn't genuine.
Ask Lyn about the BUA, she has really suffered at their hands.

Ooh, ok... Tubr? What does that stand for? There are so many places claiming to be authentic and trustworthy, I just feel so lost and confused...

Yeah, TUBR - The Utonagan Breed Registry
BUS consists of a Northern Inuit with one testicle and a not very well bred Shepalute with no health history and like has already been said BUA breed anything with anything and call them British Utonagan
Hey it's up to you when it comes down to it, they can do the talk but time has proved they can't walk the talk

Well how could you know?? Like has been said, lots of people being taken in by it all in the past, but I could tell by what was said to me by people coming to me for a puppy that they had done their research and were very aware that not all Utonagan were 'real' and they were asking the right questions of me, which is good, I was able to answer them truthfully with no fudging the issues they were enquiring about. I think all the nasty little campaigns that were started by various people belonging to these groups have come back home to bite them on the bum

a few of us here are Ex-BUA members, myself, carol and vince (shadsdad) were all banned for simply having an opinion that differs from the BUA. They spread rumours with no evidence about other breeders and claim to be ethical and pure ute breeders when as June and Mara have said they aren't. there a number of things they have done that are bordering on reckless and stupid (in my opinion). I've had "heated debates" with members of this group but at the end of the day we're about the dogs not the owners and everyone has the same opinion that we are here for the dogs rather than ourselves and for that reason any issues between members are put aside and/or resolved in a positive way rather than banning or malicious rumour spreading.

Aww ! I do feel so sad for the new would be owners, it must be like walking through a minefield for them These Associations, clubs and societies have time after time and year after year fallen out with each other, victimized, bullied and campaigned against individuals.rumors, lies and accusations have been thrown about like conffetti at a royal wedding. Ask these people/organizations why and they will tell you " FOR THE SAKE OF THE DOGS/BREED " makes my blood boil The true Utonagan are beautiful and as a breed were starting to get a good reputation as a new up and coming breed until the Dim and Dom duo set up the bua, their silly notion of thinking that they knew better almost cost us our breed and years of hard work. Like all those that have been before, where are they now ? Sad, so so sad.

I see. Well I obviously can’t comment as I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about. But it is good that you are in agreement about putting the dogs first, that is the way it should be. I feel like I have started something!...world war ute perhaps… Although I have a feeling it has been going on for a while...

Lol well that idea is down the pan then. I would love to be able to get together with utes and owners, just had no clue about any of this. Thanks for all the comments and advice though guys, still trying to find my way around the wonderful world of utes!

I assure you they would be all over you like a rash, because they are running very short on new members who aren't aware how they operate.
