Post by kachinas Mon Feb 01, 2010 3:59 am

Thanks Admin for this bit Smile

And now you've done it I guess I better use it! lol

As the moulting season approaches Smile I'd like to ask people if they would save their fur and send it to me for spinning?
I need a bit more practice, lol, . I am not a great knitter Sad , but I would be happy to send your fur back in either a ball or a plain knitted square ( that's if you want it back).

Don't worry if it is not very woolie, or long, I can mix it with sheeps wool.

If you have several dogs and would like them done individually, I can do that too Smile

The size would depend on the amount you send.

There is no charge for this, as I say I'd like the extra practice, I have ideas for later but that will be when I've more experiance. Smile

    Thanks Smile

I've been saving it for ages in the hopes that the spinning wheel would come down from the attic, so will look for the bags I have of it, somewhere.......

I haven't been brushing them while the weather has been so cold, with them living out I never do until they go into full moult, Lona is moulting now though because she has had babies, I may have a go later on in the week when some of the babies have gone off to their new homes, bit busy at the moment to say the least!!!! However I do have at least one bag of it somewhere, I know I do.....

I love the idea of keeping some of their fur as a 'keepsake' for their albums. If you are not too busy I would love to send you some of mine to be done as a square, if possible? It would prob just be Shunka's at the mo xxxxx If you are too busy no worries xxxxx
