How does this square up with the councils that ban dogs from the beaches totally or between April and October I wonder?

Dogs are allowed to go on the beaches in the seaside towns here on the West coast of Scotland at least (not sure about other parts of Scotland). Where Loki used to go to was great for everyone - horses included! As long as the owners are responsible and clean up any mess! The mess that is usually left is by humans! They have BQs and leave their rubbish behind them!
