    Post by 955i Sat Jan 28, 2012 5:53 am

I have consistently found this place good for cheap fish on the reduced shelf.

I have had a number of whole bream and plaice for 25p if you catch it right and even got a whole large octopus (for me not the dog) for 10p as I was there at the right time!!

I'm not sure, but as fish has a shorter shelf life than other meats they are always putting something on offer so worth checking in if you pass one.

The fish in the Morrison's that is in Johnstone is expensive! Must look next time I am in (seldom in it) to see where their "bargain" shelves are!! If they had Scottish Haddock then I would get some of that - only fish I like!!

    Thanks for the tip!!

When I was working at Tesco, 90% of the fish came in frozen, even though half of it wasn't supposed to be! , so I never get thier fish off the counter now.

Morrisons is further away from me, so can't get there so easy, but it is deffinatly better! Smile
