Please be aware ! If you get a phone call saying that you have won rewards on your Visa card. These people call themselves"The Visa reward department "
They come over very genuine and quote to you most of your details making it sound realistic. It almost happened to us this morning. It has been reported and is now in the hands of police fraud squad.

Oh Lyn, that is dreadful, how on earth do they get hold of details like that so as to make you think they are genuine, hope the police nail them

Many thanks for the warning, Lyn. I have heard that banks and such sell our details to companies!! Whether that is true, or not I can't say!

Well done you for twigging it was a fraud and hope the fraud squad catch those who are behind it!

It was my other half's details that they had. Quite frightening the amount of details that they had collected which made it seem all the more cosh'a. It was only when they left phone music on for a while and came back saying that they would have to send a cheque for £636.46p instead of hand delivering it with a pa photographer as it was for less than a grand that I twigged that they had probably gone into his account and found that it was his dormant one with little in it, hence the long amount of time OH was listening to phone music. They said it would be in the post today, yeah right ! Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil
