I figured I could do with some cheering up so I've dug out some photos of my Mum and one of her Irish setters. His name is Ethan and he is every bit as regal and aloof as he looks lol. These were taken at a show up in scotland where he placed highly in his class, the photographer was kind enough to send us copies. Enjoy Smile

What a handsome boy he is, and his colouring is just stunning, that is the thing I have always loved about the Irish Setters is that marvellous colour. Your mum is rightfully a very proud settermummy as you can see by the piccies, and I love the name Ethan Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

He is such a good example of his breed, no wonder he achieved what he did Rob and so handsome. His colouring is so rich, are they born with such rich colouring or does it develope as the pup gets older[hint, hint, for puppy pic's lol!]. Where's the pic of the comical one that you was telling me about? [ another hint!]. XX

haha ill have to dig some more pics out lol, they start more of a brownish colour that deepens and reddens as they mature, the comical one would be fraser lol, hes ten months and a bit of a clown haha.
I'll try and find some to upload for you
