Re: companys?????
If you buy Natural Instincts for working dogs they don't charge VAT on that and they also do an extra offer for bulk orders....if you have the freezer space. I mainly buy working dogs for Maska.
I like the Natural Instincts because if offeres a balanced meal not just meat...it has added fruit, veg, fish oils and kelp. So I don't have to worry about adding the extra elements to his meat diet to ensure it is balanced. That's great for a novice feeder like me

Re: companys?????
Thanks for that Joce, I knew the ruse applied to dried food for 'working dogs' but wasn't aware it could be applied to raw.

Re: companys?????
I find that, for some reason, parents get annoyed when you let your dogs do that....
I got my Natural Instincts order this morning, as they had run out of 'working dogs' food they sent me 40 packs of a more expensive one for the same price...:O)

Re: companys?????
I`ve found a new company called Bulmers,
http://www.bulmerdogfood.co.uk/Price-list/delivery
Their meat is good, though they don't have the same selection of Landywoods, they are also cheaper than them too, the only problem I`ve had is the delivery dates, I`ve used them twice now, and both times they deliverd two days late! , The other advantage is they deliver every 2-3 weeks, so I think I'll give them another chance!

Re: companys?????
Yeah I stopped Landywoods a while back because the turkey necks are cut up and I noticed the turkey wings were as well last time I had them. Have used them for tripe and got a bag of pigs ears and tripe sticks to make up the order, everytime they ring I ask them if they are still cutting the necks and wings up and they say yes and I tell them will not be ordering them till I get a choice, and that several of us feel like that, I feel there is enough of us for them to put some on one side for us, because that is getting to be a few hundred pounds they will be losing. Don't get the pet mince because my butcher does it, I get carcasses and bones free from my friend, and I buy chicken thighs (£2 a bag), chicken fillets (£5 a bag) and white fish (£3 a bag) from Iceland. I also get tins of tuna when they are on offer and stock up with them, and they get tuna, also the odd tin of sardines, although only rarely because they are all on a diet
Will be having a look at their site later......
