theres a great load of woods and forest all on top of each other around White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire EN10 and penbridge lane places for cars to pull in off the road, theres also horse riding trails.

there is wormley woods, broxbourne woods, bayford woods, hoddeston woods all nearly linked but you can walk from miles and miles.

Born and bred in Hertfordshire, it's a special county for me, HOME!, It's a diverse county, vastly underrated!

I'm not born and bred in Northamptonshire, but it is a beautiful county. It is not called the "forgotten Cotswolds" for nothing. There are amazing villages with beautiful houses built of Northamptonshire stone, including the one I live in, each with a quaint pub, many of whom welcome dogs. I will not go into a pub where my dog is not welcome, but thankfully many pubs round here (but not the one in our village) welcomed Hal, and now welcome Tai. We have some fabulous bluebell woodlands - Badby woods, Everdon Stubbs, Harlestone Firs, Bucknell woods near Silverstone, Salcey Forest. It is a very beautiful county - just unfortunately far too far from the sea for my liking. We plan to sell up and retire in a couple of years time and move to the sea - either the west country or Wales.
